The Brancacci Chapel is a chapel in the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine in Florence. It is sometimes called the “Sistine Chapel of the early Renaissance” for its painting cycle, among the most famous and influential of the period. The frescoes are really breathtaking and shouldn’t be missed for any reasons. The colours, the movement, the perception of the space are completely changing from the ones of the middle ages and the Brancacci Chapel it’s one magnificent example of how the history of art was evolving at that time. I could spend hours looking at those amazing paintings and you should too!
